Abstract

Discussions of visual field testing frequenrly concentate on the 'how" or the "when'' of visual field resting, as prac­ritioners grapple with the question of whether or not to screen all patients in their pracrite. I suggest that it is preferable to confine field testing to those patients where iris clinically indicated: to support this suggesrion. I have reviewed 226 consecutive patients for whom Goldmann kinetic visual fields were conducted by me.
