Visual Standards in the Aviation Environment

Abstract

There are over 70,000 pilots and air traffic controllers in Canada. Each year sees more new applications for permission to train or maintain licensure. One of the major areas of scrutiny in granting a licence is visual fitness. A great number of applicants therefore need professional assessment by their vision care specialist. It is thought that a report of the Canadian Aviation Visual Standards
