Minimizing lens rotation of the toric base curve is very important to maintain a good visual acuity. This study evaluates eight astigmatic corneas fitted with five different toric base curve designs: 2/3 and 4/3 corneal tority. 1D flatter and 1D steeper than the two corneal meridians.
The results demonstrate that steeper lenses show less rotation and that the superior lid and corneal topography will affect behaviour of that kindof lens.
