Abstract

A 6-month clinical study was conducted to evaluate a soft lens care regimen containing 3 percent hydrogen peroxide as a disinfecting solution. There was a statistically significant increase in daily lens-wearing time and improvement in corrected visual acuity over the course of the study. No adverse reactions and no chemical or physical changes to the hydrogel lenses occurred during the study. The data show that the hydrogen peroxide disinfecting regimen was safe, comfortable, convenient to use and effective.
