Abstract

At this most wonderful time of year it's not only appropriate but also important to reflect on the meaning of life and the importance of family — both personal and optometric. Personal family is the essential element of society. Christmas is a special time for 'fam­ily' and for sharing wonderful feelings of gratitude, giving, and love, — all helping to reestablish our faith and hope in humanity in our increasingly busy world.
