Résumé

Les auteurs examinent Les études actuelles d'un modelé de laboratoire sur l'allergénique du thimerosal. Des études ont été effectuées par I’immunisation de lapins au thimerosal : on a retrouvé dans les sérums et les larmes des anticorps spécifiques. Les lapins ont subi un essai de provocation a I’aide de lentilles a hydrogel perfilcon A, enrobées de thimerosal lié à une protéine. Ils ont observé des réactions inflammatoires analogues à celles retrouvées chez les malades sensibilises, ce qui montre que Les protéines conjuguées au thimerosal peuvent etre a la fois immunogènes et capables de provoquer des réactions allergiques.
