Résumé

Le risque a l’intégrité de la rétine des jeunes et des aphaques par les rayons ultraviolets inferieurs (UV A) bleus a courtes ondes du spectre visible, est un phénomène reconnu. Ce risque est rehaussé par l'emploi prolonge d'instruments dont la source d'illumination est une ampoule Xenon éclair, une ampoule halogène ou autre ampoule émettant une haute teneur de rayons nocifs, soit dans une situation de diagnostie ou d'enseignement. Ce travail est un expose des avant âges et désavantages de filtre capables d'atténuer ces rayons nocifs durant d'ophtalmoscopie directe ou indirecte, la photographie de la rétine ou le gonioscopie a miroirs. Les filtres qui éliminent toutes /es ondes inferieures a 450nm sont recommandés.
