Résumé

Le syndrome de Charles Bonnet est observé cliniquement surtout chez la personne âgée atteinte d'une baisse d'acuité visuelle. Ce syndrome est caractérisé par la présence d'hallucinations visuelles chez une personne n'ayant pas de troubles d'ordre psychologique. Il est important de reconnaître ce syndrome, de le différencier de d'autres conditions cliniques qui s'accompagnent aussi d'hallucinations visuelles, et de pouvoir conseiller adéquatement le patient atteint.
