About the Journal

The Canadian Journal of Optometry (CJO*RCO) is the official, open-access publication of the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO), a quarterly publication featuring high-quality, peer-reviewed original research, systematic and scoping reviews, case reports, and other scholarly articles.

Opinions and commentaries published in the CJO*RCO are not necessarily the official opinion or policy of CAO unless specifically identified as such. Because legislation varies from province to province, CAO advises optometrists to consult with their provincial licensing authority before following any of the practice management advice offered in the CJO*RCO.
